Personal Statement:

Dr. Jing Guo earned his bachelor’s degree in 2013 and subsequently completed his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in 2018. Dr. Guo then conducted postdoctoral research (August 2018 – November 2021) and served as a distinguished associate researcher (December 2021 – December 2024) in the laboratory of Professors Ke Ding and Xiaoyun Lu at the School of Pharmacy, Jinan University. In January 2025, Dr. Guo joined the School of Pharmacy at Shenzhen University Medical School as an assistant professor.

Dr. Jing Guo's primary research focuses on: 1）The development of preclinical candidate compounds targeting druggable targets. 2）PROTAC/molecular glue degrader development and target functional exploration. To date, Dr. Guo has published 10 papers as first or co-first author in leading medicinal chemistry journals, including Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Bioorganic Chemistry, Expert Opinion on Drug Discovery, and Expert Opinion on Therapeutic Patents.
