Personal Statement:
Dr. Wen received her Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2021, participated in a China Scholarship Council (CSC)-sponsored joint training program at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden (IPF, Germany), and then joined the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zhejiang University for postdoctoral training. In 2025, Dr. Wen joined the School of Pharmacy of Shenzhen University as “Hundred Talents Program” assistant professor.
Biomolecular condensates play crucial roles in biological processes such as cellular structure assembly and material transport. Additionally, dysregulation of biomolecular condensates is closely linked to the development and progression of diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Dr. Wen has been dedicated to investigating the intrinsic structural composition and physicochemical characteristics of these condensates, as well as the determinants mediating phase separation. Her work focuses on developing novel drug delivery platforms while simultaneously deciphering disease-associated molecular pathways, thereby providing potential therapeutic targets. Dr. Wen has published many papers in high impact academic journals such as Nature Chemistry, Journal of Controlled Release, Small, Chinese Journal of Chemistry, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Nanotechnology, Science Advances, Advanced Science, etc.
