RESEARCH INTERSTING:
My lab focuses on the study of immunoregulatory mechanisms of autoimmune diseases and tumor immunity by immunoinhibitory cytokines.
We study the functions of immunoinhibitory cytokine in the development of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus and ankylosing, spondylitis, as well as non infection inflammatory diseases such as osteoarthritis and gout. To explore the immunoregulatory mechanisms in the inflammatory reaction of autoimmune diseases and non infection diseases, we study the role of immunomodulatory cytokines and immune homeostasis in the pathogenesis of a variety of autoimmune diseases and non infection inflammatory diseases. The purpose of our research is to provide experimental basis for prevention and new therapeutic targets for autoimmune diseases and non infection inflammatory diseases.
Cellular immunity, especially CD8+ T cells, plays an extremely important role in the killing of tumor cells; however M2 macrophages play a key role in the metastasis of tumor. We investigate immunocytokines how to regulate the immunity of T cells and macrophages, from which to study the mechanisms of tumor immunity, tumor immunotolerance, tumor immunoescape and tumor metastasis, to elaborate the immunoregulatory mechanisms of tumor, and to search the new targets for tumor therapy.
