A.   Personal Statement

I received my doctorate degree in Molecular Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University in 2013, where I studied molecular targeted treatments for leukemia. I then joined in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (Guangdong Province Key Laboratory for Liver Research), where I conducted postdoctoral research regarding the impact of the tumor microenvironment on transformation of liver cancer stem cells. In 2015, I joined the Institute of Molecular Medicine at Shenzhen University, where I studied the role of cancer stem cells in cancer prevention and treatment. In 2017, I joined the laboratory of Prof. Ji Kunmei where I conduct basic research on the mechanisms of allergens and allergic diseases. I have published 23 SCI articles, and preside over five research projects (of which one is complete and four are ongoing).
