A.  Personal Statement

My research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of aging and aging-related diseases. My lab is actively exploring the interplay between DNA damage signals and age-related metabolic reprogramming, and the role of sirtuins in DNA repair and age-onset epigenetic alteration. In particular, we are screening for compounds from natural products that may alleviate aging-related diseases and promote longevity  u sing progeroid mouse models . My research has been continuously supported by the National Natural Science Foundation in China (NSFC).
