A. Personal Statement
My long-standing research interests fall in the biological application and toxicity study of artificial nanomaterials. I have achieved fruitful scientific research results in tumor immunotherapy, gene delivery, nanotoxicology and other fields. I have published 40 SCI articles in international journals such as Small, Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology, and Medicine, and Theranostics, with a total impact factor of 163 and 504 citations. I have obtained seven grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 12 grants from the province or city, and was identified as a Shenzhen Overseas High-level Talent, Nanshan District Leading Talent.

C. Contributions to Science (*: corresponding/co-corresponding author)
I have engaged in the biological application and toxicity study of artificial nanomaterials such as quantum dot, and obtained a series of original achievements. My research includes: (1) tumor imaging studies of artificial nanomaterials such as quantum dots, succeeding in passive and active tumor-targeting imaging in vivo; (2) developing CPLA and other degradable nanocarriers, achieving siRNA delivery into tumors with high transfection efficiency and good biological compatibility; (3) performing in-depth study on the organ toxicity of cadmium-containing quantum dots, revealing the potential toxicity of CdSe quantum dots on the immune system and reproductive system, proving that the CdSe quantum dots can induce immune system dysfunction and interfere with the normal oocytes maturation and fertilization ability; (4) in vivo toxicological study of non-cadmium quantum dot InP/ZnS, extending the in vivo toxicity of quantum dots from cadmium-containing quantum dots to cadmium-free quantum dots.
