A. Personal Statement
My long-standing research interests focus on the role of gastrointestinal hormones on metabolic disorders, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease. I am also interested in the bio logical function s of zinc and zinc transporters in cellular and phy s iolog ical processes.
