本讲座主要讲解ABCA1 / ApoE / HDL信号通路在中风康复过程中的作用,从分子机制的角度为中风的康复治疗提供指导。

嘉宾简介:

Xu Cui, Assistant Scientist of Henry Ford Health System, Henry Ford Hospotal. His research has primarily focused on the mechanism of cerebrovascular disease especially in the ischemic stroke, and developing therapies for neurovascular protection and neurorestoration for stroke and diabetic diseases. He has extensive experience in experimental stroke for more than thirteen years and pioneered these studies which led to more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. As a highly skilled researcher and expertise, he has supervised technicians and postdoctoral fellows in his lab and completed a pioneer research project supported from AHA. His current research supported from NIH is to investigate the mechanism of brain ABCA1/HDL/ApoE in the regulation of white matter remodeling and oligodendrogenesis using neuroprotective and neurorestorative agents that increase HDL and ApoE to promote brain rewiring after transient or permanent focal cerebral ischemia using various pre-clinical relevant stroke models.
