A. Personal statement

Qiusheng Zhang, M.D., is a Chief Surgeon and Master’s tutor at Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital, who specializes in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of tumors in the spinal canal, syringomyelia, cervical spondylosis, lumbar spinal stenosis and lumbar disc herniation. He graduated from Sun Yat-sen University and has worked in neurosurgery for nearly 20 years. He currently serves as the secretary of the Spinal Spine Group of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, as a member of the Spine and Spinal Specialty Committee of the World Chinese Neurosurgery Association, the Spinal Spine branch of the Chinese Research Hospital Association and the Spinal Spine group of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, and as the Deputy Head of the Spinal Spine group of the Surgical Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association.
