A.Personal statement

Dr Huang is Director of the Department of Neurological Intensive Care and the director of resident teaching and training at The First Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University. He works as a member of the 8^th Neurotrauma Council of the Chinese Trauma Medical Association, the 3^rd Chinese Neurosurgery Intensive Management Cooperation Group, traumatology branch of Guangdong Medical Association, and as deputy team leader of the Neurotrauma Group of the Shenzhen Neurosurgery Doctor Association. He also works as secondary peer reviewer of the Provincial Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong. He has been awarded the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology award and Shenzhen Municipal Science Progress award.

Dr Huang’s research focuses on Neurotrauma and Neurocritical disease. He was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission and the municipal Health Committee, with total funds exceeding 700,000 RMB. He has published high-level papers in the Journal of Neurotrauma and Chinese trauma journals as either first author or corresponding author.
