A. Personal statement

 As Director of the Department of Ultrasound, First Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University (Second People's Hospital of Shenzhen), Xuehao Gong has been engaged in clinical ultrasound diagnosis for 27 years. He have rich experience in abdominal, superficial organs, obstetrics and gynecological ultrasound diagnosis. He also has a research team of more than 10, including clinicians, laboratory personnel and graduate students. So far, more than 15 graduate students have been enrolled and cultivated by this team. In recent years, the team have mainly focused on ultrasound diagnosis of breast cancer. He is presiding over a research project with a fund of two million yuan, supported by Shenzhen's Science and Technology Innovation Committee. This research has aimed to verify the efficacy and safety of diagnostic ultrasound-mediated microbubble destruction enhancing neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer. Three papers have been published at present. Xuehao has involvement in the following: member of the Chinese Association of Ultrasound in Medicine and Engineering (CAUME), Abdomen Branch & Ultrasonic Therapy and Biological Effect Branch; standing member of the Chinese Medical Equipment Association, Ultrasonic Equipment Technology Branch; member of the Guangdong Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (GSUM); standing member of the Guangdong Doctor Association, Ultrasound Doctor Branch; vice chairman of the Shenzhen Society of Ultrasound in Medicine; vice chairman of the Shenzhen Doctor Association, Ultrasound Doctor Branch; editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine; project review and acceptance expert of the Shenzhen's Science and Technology Innovation Committee.
