A. Personal statement

   Zhiheng Liu is Chief Physician and Director of the Department of Anesthesiology, Second People’s Hospital of Shenzhen/Shenzhen University First Affiliated Hospital. His clinical research interests include perioperative neurocognitive disorders, with its relative basic research. His previous research experience in Harvard Medical School and the Boston University School of Medicine on Alzheimer’s disease has helped in this area of research. He is currently seeking students with passion and critical thinking to follow in, and then lead, the academic journey.
