A. Personal Statement
I am an Associate Professor and Master's supervisor for the School of Biomedical Engineering, Health Science Center, Shenzhen University. I am a high-level talent (reserve) in Shenzhen. I provide teaching on two undergraduate courses including analogical circuits and biomedical sensors, and one postgraduate course on sensing and testing technology. My main research interests are in medical ultrasound, ultrasonic elastography, biomedical signal processing and wearable devices. My current research topics include a new method for quantitative measurement of mechanical properties of cornea and lens, as well as a new method for non-invasive diagnosis of liver fibrosis. I have received a number of national, provincial and municipal research grants, published >40 manuscripts and conference papers, including >10 papers as the first or corresponding author, and am the author of one patent of invention. I am also co-author of a Shenzhen Scientific and Technological Progress Award and a Guangdong Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
