A.   Personal Statement

My long-standing research interests lie in biomarker detection and antibacterial nanomaterials. I obtained my B. Sc. at China Agricultural University (2010), followed by a Ph. D. (2015) from National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, University of Chinese Academy of Science, working on analytical method development based on microfluidics and nanotechnology and antibacterial nanomaterials. Research in my lab has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation in China (NSFC), Medical Research Foundation in Guangdong Province, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen Basic Research Project. I have published >30 papers in professional, peer-reviewed journals including Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv Mater., Nanoscale, Anal. Chem., Lab Chip. I am currently mentoring four MSc candidates.
