A.   Personal Statement

I obtained my Ph.D in the Department of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. I was then appointed R&D Department Manager at Routon Elec. from 2003 to 2005. In 2013, I became an Associate Professor at Shenzhen University. My research is engaged in biomedical signaling and image processing, medical instruments, and VLSI development. I have made many achievements in my scientific research career, including the first VXI bus controller chip, and an 863 Scientific and Technological project titled "Intelligent Blood Cell Imaging Analyzer”. I have published >80 papers in top international journals, including IEEE TMI, IEEE TBME. I am currently mentoring eight MSc candidates.
