A. Personal statement
Researches focus on nucleic acid biosensors and nano-medicines by the combination of biological technology and nanotechnology. Our group target the key issue of developing nucleic acids novel detection strategies as the main research theme, and research progresses have been achieved: (1) By the combining of novel nanotechnology and biological technology to make innovative contributions to detection principles and signal amplification strategies and develop highly sensitive, multiplex or label-free electrochemcial and optical DNA and miRNA analysis strategies. (2) Fabricating multi-functional nanoprobes for cell recogition, imaging, detection and regulation of intracellur miRNA. (3) We employ top-down or bottom-up methods to fabricate nanomaterials with unique physiochemical properties, which will be further modified functional moieties to impart new properties to design multi-functional theranostics nanosystems. I have published more than 100 SCI papers in Chem. Rev. Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,Adv. Mater.,Nano Lett, ACS nano, et al, cited 5000 times by other scientists. He also published two books about the nucleic acids detection and editor one book about the bioapplication of nanomaterials.
