A. Personal statement

Dr. Yongqiang Deng is Director of the Stomatology Department of Shenzhen University General Hospital, Director physician, Associate Professor, and Master Supervisor. He has served as: a Member of the Second Level Key Disciplines of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City; a Member of the Professional Committee of Dental and Alveolar Surgery of the Chinese Stomatological Association; a Member of the Academic Committee of Cosmetology and Prosthetics of the Stomatological and Cosmetic Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery; Vice Chairman of the Stomatological and Cosmetic Branch of the Guangdong Association of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery; and Standing Member of the Stomatological and Maxillofacial Surgery Professional Committee of the Guangdong Association of Stomatology. He has been engaged in oral clinical treatment, teaching and research for nearly 30 years, and has rich clinical experience in teeth implants, as well as oral and maxillofacial tumors, maxillofacial plastic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, congenital cleft lip and palate deformity, temporomandibular joint disease and inflammation, etc. He has published five SCI papers, and >20 scientific research papers in national and provincial professional magazines, and has presided over nearly 10 provincial and municipal scientific research projects.
