A.   Personal Statement

My research interests fall in discovery of fluorescent probes for bioimaging, andI am also interested in development oflead compounds for cancer therapy. Indeed, I am always focus ing on the areaof nucleic acid, especially G-quadruplexes. Several distinct compounds targeting particular G-quadruplexeswere developed, including c-MYC G-quadruplex, multimeric G-quadruplex, hybrid telomeric G-quadruplex and so on.
