A.   Personal Statement

My research interests lie in nursing education, including teaching methods, teacher construction and practical teaching. I have published  five related papers on this topic and have established the Evaluation Standard for Clinical Teaching Bases for Undergraduate Nurse Students in Guangdong and the Training Objectives System for "applied" nursing undergraduate students. I have participated in one scientific research grant, and have presided over one scientific research grant.

In recent years, the training and development of applied talents has been gradually promoted in China. Application-oriented nursing undergraduates are skilled talents who apply mature nursing techniques and theories to nursing practices for patients. With the development of nursing education, the research on application-oriented nursing undergraduate education in China has been gradually strengthened. However, a specific objective of application-oriented nursing undergraduate talents has not yet been formed. Meanwhile, in terms of standardization construction, although nursing educators have already carried out relevant research and exploration of base construction, the research contents are relatively limited and mostly based on the construction of teaching staff and teaching management, and lack overall evaluation and construction planning . Therefore, based on literature search and status survey, members of this research team adopted the Delphi method to formulate the indexes of the objective system of application-oriented nursing undergrad

-uate talent training and set up the evaluation criterion for Guangdong nursing (undergraduate) clinical teaching base.
