My long-standing research interests fall in parenting, postnatal depression and social support for migrant and resident women . My r esearch has been continuously supported by one grant from the National Natural Science Foundation in China (NSFC) for Young Scientists, one international grant from the UK , and t hree key grants from Guangdong Province, Shenzhen City, and Shenzhen University, since 20 17 .

  1. Parenting for resident and migrant women

Data shows that there are many problems related to parenting for Chinese resident and migrant women after childbirth, which negatively affect the wellbeing of children in the short and long term. With the development of China's urbanization and universal two-child policy, these parenting problems of Chinese resident and migrant women should warrant more attention.
