A. Personal statement

Tan Wei has a Bachelor’s degree, is Associate Chief Nurse, a national third-level Health Manager and an Emergency Specialist Nurse.

Tan Wei is Head Nurse of the emergency department of Shenzhen Second People's Hospital; Deputy Director of the emergency nursing professional committee of the Guangdong Nursing Society; a standing committee member of the emergency professional committee of the Guangdong Nurses Association; Member of the Nursing Branch of the Guangdong Family Doctors Association, Deputy Director of the Community Nursing Professional Committee of the Shenzhen Nursing Society; Adjunct Associate Professor of Southern Medical University; Adjunct Professor of Guangdong Medical University; Adjunct Teacher of Shenzhen University; and was a Member of the 2013 and 2012 Masters of Nursing Tutor Group of the School of Nursing, Guangzhou Medical University.

Tan Wei has been engaged in emergency nursing for 27 years, focusing on research into emergency nursing, nursing management and nursing teaching; currently engaged in 2 research projects and with 6 first author publications.
