Zhihong Song is a member of the Communist Party, Head Nurse of General Medicine and Gastroenterology Department, a member of Geriatric Nursing Committee of Guangdong Nursing Society, a member of Guangdong Liver Disease Nursing and Community Management Committee, Vice President of the 1st Digestive Disease and Health Nurse Branch of Guangdong Nurse Association, a member of the Expert Pool of Respiratory Nursing Committee of Chinese Nursing Association, Vice Chair member of Geriatric Nursing, Shenzhen Nursing Association, Vice Chair of the Health Management Branch of Shenzhen Nursing Society, Reviewing Expert of the Journal of Chinese Modern Nursing, part-time teacher of Shenzhen University.

Zhihong Song’s research expertise is Nursing of Digestive Disease, Geriatric Disease and Nursing Management. Research topics are funded by Health Commission of Guangdong Province, Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee and Guangdong Nursing Association.
