Personal Statement:

Dr. Yongqiang Deng received his Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2001. In 2018, Dr. Deng joined the Department of Stomatology in Shenzhen University General Hospital as a Chief Physician and the Chairman of the department. In 2021, Dr. Deng joined the School of Stomatology in Shenzhen University as a professor, and he was pointed as the Vice principal of the School of Stomatology. In 2022, Dr. Deng joined the Institute of Stomatological Research in Shenzhen University, and he is the Director of this institute at present.

Dr. Deng has been engaged in oral medicine and teaching for more than 30 years. He has plenty of clinical and research experience in dental implants, oral and maxillofacial tumors, maxillofacial plastic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, congenital cleft lip and palate deformity, temporomandibular joint diseases and inflammation. He has published more than 30 scientific research papers in professional journals, and lead multiple scientific projects.
