Personal Statement: 

Dr. Yang Zhang obtained his Ph.D. degree from School of Dentistry, Radboud University Medical Center (the Netherlands) and continued his research as a Postdoc in Radboud Institute of Molecular Life Science. He was also a visiting researcher at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Germany) and Rice University (USA). His research is mainly engaged in stem cell therapy, osteoimmunology, Biofabrication and extracellular vesicles for regenerative medicine. In the past five years, he has more than 40 publications in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine such as Biomaterials, Advanced Science, Stem Cell Research & Therapy, Journal of Dentistry, Acta Biomaterialia, etc. and has an h-index of 27. He served as the editor of BMC Biomedical Engineering and Extracellular Vesicles and Circulating Nucleic Acids, and as a peer reviewer for Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, Stem Cells Translational Medicine, Journal of Bone Mineral Research etc.
