Personal Statement: 

Dr. Jie Sun received her Ph.D. from China Pharmaceutical University and joined the School of Basic Medical Sciences at Shenzhen University as an assistant professor in 2015. Dr. Sun received joint doctoral training from the China Scholarship Council at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Dr. Sun has long been committed to the study of aging monitoring and intervention. Dr. Sun has published many papers in high impact academic journals such as Nature Communications, Nature Metabolism, Nucleic Acid Research, Periodontology 2000, etc. and led or participated in major program of the National Natural Science Foundation, general program of the National Natural Science Foundation, youth program of the National Natural Science Foundation, general program of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and general program of the Shenzhen Natural Science Foundation.
