The First Affiliated Hospital of SZU

The Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital is a modern A-class comprehensive hospital that incorporates patient care, rehabilitation, teaching, research, prevention and health education. This hospital started to undertake clinical courses and internships for medical science students in 2010. To date, two rounds of graduates have completed clinical practice and probation training here.

 The SZU  General Hospital

The SZU General Hospital (formerly known as the Xue Fu Hospital), is fully funded by the Shenzhen municipal government and is managed by the SZU HSC. The hospital is located in Xili University Town, in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen —adjacent to the new campus of SZU. A total of 110 million RMB (~16 million US$) has been invested in the 135,000 square meter hospital. The construction officially commenced in December 2013, and the main structure was in place by June 2015. At present, the hospital is undergoing internal decoration, equipment procurement and installation and talent recruitment. A total of 2,000 hospital beds are planned, of which 1,000 patient beds will be set up in the first phase of construction. The hospital is expected to open in the second half of 2017 and will be a modern and comprehensive A-class hospital that integrates health care, teaching, research, disease prevention and international medical services.

The SZU South China Hospital

The SZU South China Hospital is a tertiary first-class hospital  in Shenzhen City. The municipal public hospital built and built is located in  Pinghu, Longgang, with 2,000 beds. With an area of 30,000 m², the science and education building is the largest single hospital building integrating medical  education, research and transformation in the first phase of  construction in Shenzhen.
