The 11th China Undergraduate Medical Innovation Tournament&The 2025 Belt and Road International Competition was successfully held at Shandong University from August 15th to 19th. This year's competition was the largest in scale, attracting more than 45,000 students from over 300 universities in 20 countries around the world.

In the "Belt and Road" international competition track (open to non-Chinese undergraduate students), which was set up for the first time in this competition, two international student teams trained by Shenzhen University Medical School performed outstandingly and both won the top honor of the track - the National Gold Medal. The international track had only five gold awards, and Shenzhen University won two of them, achieving remarkable results.

The outstanding performance of the Shenzhen University team has drawn extensive attention and positive coverage from overseas media, highlighting SZU MedicalSchool's remarkable achievements in international talent cultivation and its growing international influence.
