Genome Instability & Disease (GIAD) publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed original research papers, short communications, and review articles on the molecular mechanisms underlying genome stability maintenance, genome instability-associated human diseases and therapeutic applications. In particular, GIAD publishes novel data regarding the regulatory mechanisms of genome stability, including epigenetic and post-translational modifications, and the DNA damage response and its association with the inheritance of mutations that contribute to genetic disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, and ageing. GIAD publishes one volume per year, consisting of six regular issues. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Since the journal’s launch in January 2020, GIAD has published 10 issues with the comprising articles attracting more than 30,000 downloads. Moreover, GIAD has been indexed by many databases including Google Scholar and the CNKI.
We are excited to announce that across 2022 and 2023, we will publish eight special issues. We are now seeking review articles, original research papers and opinion pieces on new advances in the following fields:
